
Investortech and AI in VET, Education, and Digital Transformation at HIT 2026
The CEO of INVESTORTECH participated in the 2nd edition of the Horizons of Information Technology Conference (HIT 2026) in Misurata, which brought together academics, researchers, policymakers, and technology experts to discuss the future of digital transformation and artificial intelligence in Libya.
The event also included high-level participation, such as the minister of AI and digital economy in Libya and the chairman of the General Information Authority, who contributed to discussions on Libya’s digital transformation agenda, AI governance, institutional readiness, and the opportunities and challenges associated with adopting artificial intelligence across public-sector institutions.
The conference featured insightful discussions on the role of AI in supporting national development, advancing digital transformation, and enhancing public services. Particular attention was given to the importance of education, training, and capacity building, and VET in preparing national talent for the emerging AI-driven economy.
The event provided a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge, sharing experiences, and exploring opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence for sustainable development in Libya.
